quicktime 7 crashes when attempting to use export

Hi,

I'm experiencing an issue with Quicktime 7 (v.7.6.6)

It keeps crashing everytime I attempt to export a file. I get as far as selecting 'Export' before it crashes on me.

I've seen in a couple of other threads with people having similar issues where they recommend the removinig of plugins such as 'Perian' and 'Flip4Mac' and then reinstalling QuickTime. I've done this but to no avail, the issue persists.

Any suggestions as to how I might resolve this problem?
