Pages Document displays all white in preview

I took an old flyer that I had on my iPad and brought it over to my MacBook Pro. After I finished the modifications I tried to put it back on my iPad. It kept hanging on the import so I decided to just save it as a PDF and manually place it on the iPad. However, when I save as a PDF all that displays is a white page, if I try to print the preview screen is all white as well.

Any help would be appreciated, I need to get this flyer ready by Monday.

Thanks

PB

There was one (maybe two) plain yellow object like this one. I build this one in a hurry with Gimp but in the doc it was a vectorial object.

User uploaded file

and if I remember well, after removing it (or them) the doc behaved well.

If I may get the doc with is treated in this thread, I would try to identify it in the index.xml file.

Maybe I would understand what's wrong with it.

It was really late so maybe I did a poor job of explaining what was happening.

I am operating on the Mac version of Pages so I believe this is where I would post. All I did was get a flyer that I had saved on my iPad and bring it into the Mac environment to work on. The new version of the flyer was made on my Macbook Pro. Everything worked exactly as it normally does however after saving it I noticed that the image in the preview window shows up all white. However, I open it in pages(on my Mac) and it is there, everything looks as it should. But if I print it comes out as a blank piece of paper or if I try to export to PDF or any other export it comes out blank. Basically Pages on my Mac is able to see the work I did but if I try to get it off my computer in any fashion it's just a white piece of paper or file.

There is an odd yellow rectangle as the background in the masters. Not sure what exactly it is or why it is causing problems.

When I eliminated it and replaced it with just a plain colored shape, not in the masters I could print the file to pdf.

I didn't have time to hunt the original causes in detail. I'd use Illustrator to pick apart the pdf but don't have it installed on my Lion drive.

It seems there is something illegal in the yellow panel because pdf output with the white only result is 4kb which is empty. The good pdf which has all the content is 1.1 Mb.

He Peter

If your memory behave well, we already had a thread about a commercial template using several colored objects (kind of flower petals).

One was yellow and fooled the app.

Would be interesting to know which is the source of the template which is used by the OP.
