Ok, so, you say the "cloud icon" is greyed out. Where do you see the icon? Is it in iTunes or on an iDevice? What exactly are you trying to do?

Photos for MacOk, now we're making some progress.
Has the initial scan, match and upload process completed on the original computer? If not, this is what you can see. So if the process has not finished on the original computer, turn off iTM on this computer and let the process finish. Then all the music in this second library shoudl be accessible.
In the meantime you may find this KB article helpful <http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4054>.

Feb 4, 2012 8:59 AM in response to Michael Allbrittonby BGreen904,Thanks Michael. The screenshot came from my new PC. I made a backup copy of my iTunes library on an external drive but decided to give ITM a try. Hopefully it will call come together. I completed the initial scan on my original computer about two days ago as a way to make sure everything was done.

Photos for MacIf you've bought a new computer and you want to get your music onto it the hands-down best way to do that will be to add the music to your iTunes library off the external HDD.
