FYI, I have two partitions on my internal hard drive: Snow Leopard and Lion and, I've rarely used SL lately - only a few times when I either wanted to run Software Update on it and/or worked in Appleworks on some designs. I was certainly running Lion yesterday when I shut it down.
So, this morning, I do the PRAM reset and to my surprise, it started itself from the Snow Leopard partition (both login screen and then the desktop). I had to go into System Prefs and choose Lion and restart.
Is this normal?
SL was the original OS on this machine - would that be the reason that it automatically used SL?
