Symbols in engravings

Symbols in engravings

Hello all.
I was thinking of buying an ipod nano for my mom and having it engraved with the words "Mẹ Thủy" on it. In the sample picture, the symbols come out as question marks.
Has anyone ever tried engraving symbols?

Those symbols just must not be supported.

Only certain, basic letters, numbers, and symbols can be engraved by apple 😟

You could have a local jewler or similar option engrave it for you, just apple will not engrave it again if it needs service.

You could try calling apple and see what they say.
