When I try to connect my magic mouse or trackpad my iMac (OSX Lion 1.7.2) restarts

When I try to connect my magic mouse or trackpad to my iMac it restarts. Other Bluetooth devices connect fine and my USB mouse also connects fine.

Also I can't find "com.apple.bluetooth.plist" in my library/preferences file, only a file called "com.apple.Bluetooth.FBE4EFB5-83D3-536C-B22-E0D5ECBBA1EA.plist"

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

UPDATE:

My iMac doesn't restart when connecting to my magic mouse or trackpad anymore, but now my iMac won't pair with either when going through bluetooth, mouse or trackpad preferences.

They both pair with my iMac when I click on them, but when i do this they doesnt respond to movement or clicking and disconnect after 1-5 minutes.

I've tried rebooting, deleting "com.apple.bluetooth.plist" and resetting the PRAM but none of these things have worked.

They both have fully charged batteries and the indicator light comes up on both devices.

Thanks in advance
