mobile me (iCloud account) on my iPhone 2G

Hello everyone,

Have a problem with syncing my new(old) device. Yesterday bought an iPhone 2G with 3.1.3 software. Tried to set my mobile me (iCloud) account, but the answer I got reads: "Wrong login and/or password", which is not true ov coz..... Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Would like to sync my contacts, calendars and download music I bought from iTunes.... Unfortunately, cannot use my MBP coz all I have now is my iPad 2.... Is it possible to sync such "old" device???

Unfortunately you need an iPhone 3GS or better running iOS 5 to use iCloud.

Which is it? A MobileMe account, or an iCloud account?

If it is an iCloud account, you need iOS5 or later.

If it is a MobileMe account, which has not yet been moved to iCloud, then it should be ok.

Ooops, I have moved to iCloud as soon as they started, had an iPhone 4 back then..... is it possible to switch back to mobile me? Anywayz thx a million 4 all answers.... Guess I made w wrong decision with the "oldie" ....
