I no longer have the ability to manually manage music on my iphone. On the summary screen under options I do have the ability to 'manually manage videos' but not 'manually manage music and videos.' I've never seen this before nor have I found any information on this on the net. None of my other Apple devices have this issue.
Anyone else out there experienced this issue?

My iPhone 4 iOS 5 still shows "Manually manage music and video" in iTunes. Try reseting the iPhone and restart iTunes/computer. Next steps would be re-installing iTunes and Restoring the iPhone. Restore will erase media files however restoring to a back up will return it to the way it was as long as your media is in the iTunes Library.
Incedently the iOS 5 and the latest iTunes will allow you to manually mange even if it is set to auto sync.
I'm having the exact same issue. My iTunes only says "manually manage videos." I wonder if it has something to do with having your music in the cloud, but I'm open to suggestions. I want to be able to delete Christmas music off my phone! There must be a way to fix this without having to reset my phone.
Anyone have a solution for this yet? Was curious if a hard reset fixed the problem.
