suddenly I have a thin black line running top to bottom on the left of center of my display screen.... anyone have an idea what I can do?

I had a red one (it appeared a few days after buying my iMac). I took it back to the Apple store and they exchanged it!!

Actually, I bought & signed up a 1 year contract with a mobile carrier (retailer) Chun-haw telecommunication in Taiwan, and they told me today that they only could exchange it with a second grade IPhone 5. I didn't think this is acceptable.
Can apple authorized retail seller have their own policy for return & refund? Very disappointed & unhappy.

Why don't you contact Apple re your problem. The Apple store replaced my iMac, but I'd only had it for 1 week. Good Luck.
