Copy i-movie event to USB Harddrive

Evening Everyone,

I'm hoping to share some of my video clips with a friend so he can combine his vids with mine to make a final cut on his Mac.

I've already sorted all the video's in my event and removed all the junk footage but I cant figuire out how to copy the event to an external hard drive.

Any support would be greatly appreciated (Dummys guide would be most suitable)

Using intel IMac running Mac OS X 10.6.8 AND IMOVE '11.
