Feb 5, 2012 3:12 PM in response to ushiefnechby wiclee,Try following steps:
1. Restart computer, right mouse click iTunes icon and select "Run As Administrator"
2. If that fails, refer to following article to remove SC files:
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2363
3. If that fails, repair your Quicktime. START / CONTROL PANEL / PROGRAMS N FEATURES / hightlight QUICKTIME and click REPAIR.

Feb 5, 2012 11:35 PM in response to ushiefnechby itisJacek,Have had very similar problem after updating to iTunes 10.5.3. (Win7 64bit) After I spent severals hours talking to "experts" from Apple as well as Microsoft, I've had more than enough. This is really hard to believe to be true.
Apple relieses application for Windows with Microsoft approval, and then nobody takes responsibility, when the two do not work together. Lukily I found a workaround. Just right click on the song choose "open with...iTunes" and here it is nicely in iTunes library.
I hope it works for many frustrated iTunes users. Jacek

Feb 6, 2012 3:57 AM in response to ushiefnechby ushiefnech,ok i´ll try.
But how come that my itunes just worked fine until i updated it ?
i mean the first time the Problems appeared while i just listened to music . Itunes just froze during the playback ...
only after that problem i deleted everything and so on...
so the Problem is not only the adding of Songs... =(

Feb 6, 2012 5:36 AM in response to ushiefnechby IanEvs79,My iTunes freezes when I close it down (not every time) and I have tried all the suggestions to try to resolve the issue, without success, so I have pretty much given up and am living in hope that the next version will sort out all these bugs that seem to be present.

Feb 7, 2012 12:00 AM in response to ushiefnechby ushiefnech, hello
so i somehwo found a solution, i dont know what the problem is or was , but for right now itunes works.
What i did is, that i deleted all the songs where itunes froze. At first i didnt notice that it were almost always the same songs.
so i threw them out, an now itunes is working again. For the deleted songs, i will try to rip them using itunes this time, maybe i can integrate them like that. if that works i´ll let you know
