printer not connected

iMac set up with wireless printer. All fine. Computer goes to sleep and printer go to sleep. Computer and printer wake up. Printer not connected! How do you get iMac to remember the printer? This has happened for 2 types of wireless HP printer and a Samsung.

iMac (21.5-inch Late 2009), Mac OS X (10.7.3)
