    Thanks everyone for your replies. Sorry you are all having issues too. My email is still down after 7 days. Apple Express Lane has now been looking at it for 5 days but have not been able to fix it. This is really unacceptable. If anyone makes any progress please let me know.

    This is so UNACCEPTABLE!!! My iCloud email has been down for 8 days. I've tried everything but considering that I cannot even access via it is Apple not my devices. It is evident that this is not Apple's core business or specialty.

    My iCloud mail started working yesterday, was down a little this afternoon, and is now back up.  So there has been progress for me.

    My iCloud mail is still down after 14 days!! I think this is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE - my mobile me subscription doesn't expire until the end of June so I am actually paying for this outage!!

    Email still down after 11 days. Apple Technical Support gave me an update (not proactively, but because I asked them in desperation for an update) yesterday that their technicians were still looking at the problem. They could not give me any information on when/whether the problem will be fixed. They could not tell me what the problem is - although given it is far from being an isolated case they must have some information to share. I think they are handling this so badly. It is clear that this is affecting quite a number of iCloud users. Why does Apple not post a notice to that effect on the iCloud status page and keep us informed there? By claiming that everything is fine they are really rubbing salt into our wounds.


    Has anyone's mail been fixed yet?

    My iCloud mail is fine.  Everything about my iCloud is now working.  You might have a local situation.

    Mail on Mac magically work again a few days ago. I had more than 400 unread emails!! Though, I still can't access mail through the web interface. Mail on iPhone and iPad are still not working. But at least, I have some access to my email.

    had same problem since 2/29 AM.  Changing password is NOT a good option for me.  Will speak with iCloud technician to try to resolve.

    This is totally ridiculous. What has happened to Apple and iCloud's so called reliability? It's a total mess.  Not only is my email down and has been down for more than 24 hours, but nobody at Apple has the faintest idea why. Not a clue. They can't even keep their updates current. And why do they not have some sort of a back-up? Every business has a back-up. Every hard drive has a back-up. And why so long to fix? Is anybody at Apple taking it seriously? A while back when Apple used to be a computer company for creative adults, breakdowns were rare. Since it has become a toy store for kids it's the norm. Especially with the new kiddy toy about to be unveiled. Then there is also the question as to what they propose to do about compensation, as we sit here watching our business go down the tubes. My plan-B is to trash Mail and open G Mail, a trend which I encourage others to follow. If something doesn't work and they can't fix it, junk it.
