How to install ox v 10.7 lion
Buy it from the App Store. You need to have OS X 10.6 already installed.
Make sure the Mac meets hardware specs
Upgrade to 10.6.8
Purchase and install from App Store
Allan
Buy Lion using the App Store.
Download it. When the download is complete you'll find the installer app in the Applications folder.
Double click on it to run the installer.
But the link supplied only tells you the system requirements. No place to buy Lion!
Where can I go to actually purchase 10.7?
Thanks!

That's what happens when you read a Discussion that's over two years old.
US: http://store.apple.com/us/product/D6106Z/A/os-x-lion
UK: http://store.apple.com/uk/product/D6106ZM/A/os-x-lion
Elsewhere: call the phone number in the Apple Online Store
Thanks! Got it.
Sorry to bother you with such an old thread, but it was the only game in town!
Adding to QuickTimeKirk.......I would also copy the installer once it's downloaded. Apple will most likely remove it from Applications after you install. If you ever want to install again, you'll have a copy of the installer.
Thanks, Diane. I usually do move installers into a folder in Applications that I created for that: "Application Installers" Have one in the Utility folder too. These have bailed me out many times!
