Hi to all! I've noticed apps growing in size the more I use them. Like facebook. I download it at say 10mb and after a couple weeks the app has grown to over 100mb! However, settings doesn't offer me a way to clear the documents & data that facebook has been accumulating. Any ideas...? Thanx in advance!

This could be some cache saved in the game folder. Just like your progress on a specific game. The longer you play it, the bigger it gets.
I think it's just normal. 
thanx for the immediate answer! talking about fb??? what do you think? should i delete and reinstall the app in order to clear the cache? i think it is not normal for fb app to use 500mb of my phone memory! grrrr! 😠
This approach doesn't work for apps like Mail. Unfortunately, this problem continues on iOS7, as being discussed at https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5324174
