Apple TV loose WiFi Connection

Hi there,

new Apple Stuff, new problem :-)

I have bought a Apple TV 2 and i have a problem with my home sharing WiFi connection.

The Apple TV loose the connection to my Mediathek after some minutes, i have to close iTunes on my MacBook, restart and then

it works again for some minutes. The only way to receive a stream without loosing connection is a connection via LAN but i want to use WiFi.

Anybody have a hint? I use the newest iTunes Version, OSX Lion Version and the newest Apple TV Software.

AppleTV 2, iOS 5.0.1

Cable works with the following settings: Go to the systemsettings>energysave>suspend mode for computer and display=never and turn of the other options below, suspend mode for HDD etc. after these settings, it works by cable. But not with WiFi !

Anybody have a hint?

I love my Apple TV for casual viewing. But if I need rocksolid performance (And uninterrupted viewing) I use the below.

since the last updates to OSX and iTunes last week, some pretty major problems with either Wifi, iTunes or Homesharing have occurred. We are all waiting on a fix from Apple. So far they seem to not even acknowledge the issues, so I'm not aniticipating a fix any time soon.
