Asking for password non-stop . . .

My yahoo account password had to be reset due to some spam. When I reset it, my imail keychain of course needed the updated password so I did that. However, even after doing that my yahoo constantly asks me for my password. I can not get it to save in the keycahin without getting it popping back up. Advice?

After launching Keychain, finding passwords and deleting them, I still have no success logging into my 8 email accounts, and Mail continues to ask for passwords in an endless loop. Out of frustration, I have selected "cancel" and relaunched Mail. I have checked all my settings and they are correct.

Since 10.8.2 & Mail seem to be an old probleml, has anyone had a breakthrough on solving the password problem or creating a work-around? I have had a 2 hr. session with AppleCare trouble-shooting everything on my system and they don't seem to acknowledge that Mail and Mountain Lion are problematic. They want to blame the problem on my Server. The server doesn't have a problem with my settings and this is evidenced by the fact that I can also get my mail via their web-based client. So it isn't the server's problem. I want to get my email downloaded to my computer.
