Why do I keep getting a message saying that I'm not connected to the internet when I try to install the windows 7 support software.

After I select to install Windows Support Software on a USB external drive for Windows 7 the computer says I'm not connected to the internet. Obviously I am or I would'nt be typing this message.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

I have the exact same problem, and it's a total roadblock.

I don't understand how itunes troubleshooting could help?

Using MacBookPro 13" mid 2010, OS Lion 10.7.3, BootCamp 4.0.1.

Apple technical support resolved the problem by doing a sequence of changing the network settings and restarting the computer with a certain keys pressed. Call them.
