Q: Why are the latest dates 2 years old shown for the files that have been backed up in my backup drive?  It seems that Time Machine is not allowing current information to be backed up.

Why are the latest dates 2 years old shown for the files that have been backed up in my backup drive?  It seems that Tiime Machine is not allowing the latest information to be backed up.  I have closely compared the "recency" of files in the backup drive with the latest files in the working hard drive, and they are terribly not current.  Should I get a better software package for managing the backups??
