I can not find the App Store icon anywhere on my MacBook. Is there a place I can download it? I have tried to update my system, and rebooted my computer. I have searched the bottom where all the icons are, as well as my documents.

You must be running Snow Leopard in order to access the App Store.

I see your footer says you have 10.5.8...see this knowledge base article, says you have to have at least 10.6.6. That would explain why you cannot find the app store application.
Have you looked in the Applications folder, is there an app store file in there? If so, drag it to the dock.
I have looked in the Applications folder, but there isn't one in there either.
My MacBook doesn't have App Store on it. Where can I download it?
