Feb 8, 2012 1:24 PM in response to allanefromloretteby Skydiver119,The CCK will only see photo and video files that are in a folder titled DCIM and if the names of the photo/video files are exactly 8 characters (MOV12345, DEC_2342 etc)
anything else, like documents or if the photo title is 'Julie' or something, the iPad just won't see them.

Feb 8, 2012 1:25 PM in response to allanefromloretteby King_Penguin,How did the photos get onto the SD card ? If you've copied them onto it yourself from your computer then you need to create a DCIM directory off the root of the card, with the photos underneath it, and the photo filenames need to be exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension i.e. in a similar format as if a camera had created/written them.
If the card has come straight from your camera then try a reset and see if the photos are recognised after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
