Logic crashes when initializing Core Audio

Logic will not start up without having to hold down the ctrl key. Once it opens it will not play any audio. Under preferences/Audio/Driver, if I select core audio driver, and attempt to enable it then select try(re)launch - Logic will become unresponsive and will have to be force quit. DAE is disabled and Direct TDM is also disabled.

I am running a Powerbook G4 with Tiger 10.4.5
Logic 7.0.1
I am also running Protools LE 4.0 with MBox

There is an identical Powerbook here at work running the exact same software versions and it is running fine.

Any thoughts from anyone?
