Unlock my iPhone from Vodafone

Hello Apple Community,

I recently tried to unlock my iPhone4 from Vodafone.

Visited Vodafone.com.au/unlock and put my IMEI in.

Then followed the instructions for iTunes. Did full back up, restore, etc etc BUT at no point did I get the message "your phone is now unlocked"

I did the same process recently on my sons phone and got this message, but I did not get this message during my process.

Does this mean that the Unlock was not successful??

Can I check this somehow?
