All my mail links come up with "No associated application could be found". What should I do?

Quit your mail app.

Open Safari. From the menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the General tab.

Click the pop up menu next to: Default web browser

Select the browser you want to use to open links.

Open mail and try a link.

This problem just happened to me today. Resetting browser in Safari did not help.

It only works if you change it to Safari...but not Firefox.

Same problem here. It was working fine under Mountain Lion, and suddenly stopped working. I'm using Chrome as my default browser.

My fix: go into Safari, and make that my default browser. Go back to Chrome, and make that my default browser again. All better.
