im trying to connect my macbook pro (2011) up to my old school tele via RCA.
I have a mini display port to VGA
then VGA to RCA
and a 35mm audio jack to RCA
non of this works. the audio jack works on one tele but not another?
I got told I need a PC to TV converter box, but someone else said I could just plug my macbook pro into my freeview box via scart, then use that as the converter box?

The audio is an entirely separate matter.
a freeview box is like a digi box allowing my tv to have digital channels? basically the same thing?
i just tried it with my Sky digital box and it didnt work. thank you 🙂
how old is your tele? we have a lead that is hdmi tv end and specific to the macbook I bought it in the apple shop. thing is the laptop is running an older os because of the software so it buffers at times,
