I was messing with my settings, and all of sudden, my ipod nano chromatic 4th generation, asked for a combination, I didn't enter any numbers, and tried to get out of it. Now I can't even get into my ipod without the combination that I don't know. Do I reset my entire ipod?

You will need to restore.

Connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore via iTunes. If necessary, place the iPod in Recovery mode and then restore. For how to restore see:
