iMail will not sync contacts from Exchange

Hello,

I have been using an iMail account that is synced to my Exchange email address. In Outlook, I have a few "groups" with a list of contacts that I send email to. When using iMail previously, I would simply have to type in the group name and the addresses would appear in the "to" line. However, I have deleted some of the contacts in those groups in Outlook. When I send an email using iMail using the group name, the deleted email addresses still come up in the "to" line. I was wondering if there is a way to synchronize the contacts so that the group lists could be updated. I have already tried to synchronize the account (mailbox>synchronize) and it did not work.
