Having to re-buy what I already bought?

Over the past few years I have been a very loyal customer to the iTunes Store, buying many different products ranging from songs to albums to audio books.

Now that the "see what you have bought but haven't downloaded yet" thing has been added to iTunes, I wanted to check out what I haven't downloaded yet.

But it says that I have everything! This is absolutely not true, between one thing and another I've lost many of my songs and audiobooks and I know for a fact that I'm missing at least 60 songs and 2 audiobooks.

Just the other day I tried to download one of the audiobooks that I was missing and iTunes Store told me that "I had already bought this item" and "Am I sure that I want to buy it again? It could result in having 2 of the same item".

Is there any way to fix this, and is there any way to see my actual purchase history on my account with iTunes Store?

Audiobooks are one of the only two things, along with movies, for which Apple has not been granted the rights to allow redownloading. So they will not appear in the "Purchased" list in the iTunes Store, though they should be shown in your Purchase History, available in your account information.

As to the missing songs, if they were purchased quite a while ago, it's possible they just didn't get picked up when iTunes in the Cloud feature was set up. Find the items in the Purchase History, note the order number for each, then contact the iTunes Store and give them that information and tell them that those items don't appear in iTunes in the Cloud.

Regards.
