How to transfer iTunes from pc to mac

Currently I have a windows PC and my iphone is synced on that PC through iTunes. Recently I bought a new MAC book and I want to sync and backup my iPhone to my iTunes on the mac. The problem is, that on the mac, not all my songs transferred over (only those that I recently purchased). When I log in my phone to iTunes, it is recognized, however I cannot backup my iPhone to the mac. The option is not there! My goal is to use the mac as my primary computer for syncing and backing up my iphone.

Can somebody help me please? How can I transfer itunes from PC to mac? Somehow by just doing a sync, not all the information is in itunes.

Please help!!!

Thank you in advance!

Below are methods for copying everything from one computer to another. If you have some things on one and other things on another and want to integrate them, it gets really messy and you need to use more complex methods.

do not confuse moving your whole folder and library with moving just media files as in

Quick answer if you let iTunes manage your music: Copy the whole iTunes folder and all its subfolders and files intact to the other drive. If you already have an iTunes folder on that drive, you can replace it when copying as long as you don't care about the contents.

I have almost zero experience with synching and can't help with that.
