Printing layout confusion-Please Help!

It has been my goal for a while to stop using PS5 and put all my personal stuff into and use only Aperture.

So far all is well and only using PS for major cockups in the capture.

My real hurdle has been printing control. Perfectly happy with colour etc. but cannot for the life of me get my HP 24" printer to print as I want with regards to positioning the image on the page

Yes rubbish sketch - but quick!

I think I have tried all I know to get the layout I want for each image ( with cost in mind) but for whatever reason I get the above or a variant!

So all you expert printing from AP types.

What is the correct procedure, method, workflow whatever??

Be much obliged for a straight forward response ;-)

This is a screenshot of my screen viewing Apple website. My other macs can see it too. Hope that helps.

Both (and a screenshot of the actual Aperture and Printer print dialog windows would be slightly more useful then your entertaining sketche)

Hello Frank,thank you for sticking with me.

Rather than me posting any number of variations, how about I describe a print and you post the set up ?

Anticipating your agreement ;-)

20'x15' print on 24" paper roll.

The picture is a portraite but to save paper I want to print it in landscape. eg. 'Wanted' sketch!

I understand you will not have the HP set up panel on your machine unless you do of course! So just the AP settings first .

I'll try them and see, fail - I will post. Succeed - I will post.
