How to retrieve file from time capsule
A video file was inadvertently deleted from my desk top. It should be backed up on my time capsule, but I don't know how to retrieve it.
MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), iOS 5.0.1
Close all open windows so that only your main desktop appears on your Mac
Open Time Machine on the dock and allow a few minutes for the Time Machine "Star Wars" interface to load. If you are using wireless only, this may take 10-15 minutes or so.
Use the scale at the far right of the screen to go back a day or two in time and click on the date. Or, you can use the "back" arrow to accomplish the same task.
You should see the file that you deleted on the desktop
Click on the file to highlight it
Click Restore at the lower right
