I'd say you asked two seperate questions. For a WP app I'd recommend Documents to Go or QuickOffice ... But for a notebook that organizes meeting and lecture notes, I'd recommend Evernote.
Thanks! My meeting and lecture notes tend to turn into minutes and papers at a later time, which is why I though a word processing program will be best in the long run. Evernote sounds like a good general purpose app for organizing random things, so I will look into it as well. Free is always good...
I take notes in Evernote for everything - work, personal, school, even our condo board. For more advanced stuff (like our condo board minutes) I copy the notes out of Evernote and work on in a word processing program. The final document can then be saved back into Evernote, if you wish... the cloud aspect of Evernote makes it very handy for meeting and lecture notes.
