I am not complaining, I am responding to your statement that:

"Your Mail program will still work with any server you like but not with a .me address as that address will no longer exist"

Which is incorrect of course, as is the assertion that iCloud mail will not work on Snow Leopard.

I had a Family Pack and now I have ONE address....all the others are DELETED....GONE.

They can only have been deleted if you deleted them. You can migrate each Family Pack account, sub and master, individually at http://me.com move , whereupon each becomes a completely separate iCloud account. If you have migrated the master account the sub-accounts are still accessible on MobileMe and you can migrate them by going to the address I gave and signing in with their emal addresses, and following the instructions.

I'll take some time to investigate this further, but what I saw in iCloud was the original addresses listed and then later, they were gone....

I had deleted two of the aliases as I could ONLY do that in iCloud...(this was a huge headache when Apple froze everything).  Two aliases had become huge spam feeds and it was a nightmare for me.

Thank you for your reply...but my experiences with all of this is very very bad and regardless of what is written and what is supposed to happen, I've experienced things outside of that. 

This whole thing has been so problematic for any person or organization that needs reliability and stability.  Certinly my efforts at using these things for business is out of the question.

You asked originally about Family Pack, but now you're talking about aliases - they're not the same: is the problem actually about aliases? Can you describe exactly what the situation was when you started and the steps you took, and what resulted?

No...I the problem was originally complex...and I've now let go of any hope with Apple's email services for any reliable purpose. 

Now my concern is to find out what happened to my additional addresses...as they were displayed in iCloud and now are not.

I have a 1.66 GHz Intel Core Duo Mac Mini which is not supported on Lion.  I am a little miffed that Apple provides control panel support for Windows Vista based machines (much older stuff), but no support for Snow Leopard.  I have been a loyal Apple user since 1979, a Mac user since 1984 and a early iphone user (3G and 4).  All the other times my equipment was left behind by technology advancements at Apple there were sound reasons, but not this time.

I have had Mobile me through all its iterations (a very Apple guy), but now for no reason, except strong arm tactics, I am being orphaned. 

Come on Apple at least give us with Snow Leopard some shred of real support.  I mean we all upgraded not that long ago!

You can migrate your MobileMe account to iCloud at http://me.com/move even with Snow Leopard - when asked to confirm that you have Lion on your Mac, just lie and say 'yes'.

If you have MobileMe mail set up to collect mail from external POP accounts you should cancel this before migrating, or you may find it still working in iCloud (where it isn't supposed to) and with no way of stopping it. You may find the MobileMe email settings will continue to work for a time after migrating but it will stop eventually so you should not rely on this. You should delete your MobileMe email account from Mail.

You can then set up Mail manually in Snow Leopard to access iCloud email; it's a slight fudge because the 'wizard' will attempt to connect you to MobileMe as soon as you enter an @me.com address. The process, which includes a workaround for this, is described here:

You may be able to sync your calendars to iCloud by means of an unsupported hack, but you cannot sync Contacts or Bookmarks and iCloud's other facilities will not work. This page outlines the situation when you migrate to iCloud, including a link to the calendar hack:

Yes this is at very least what they should do. A Mac under Snow Leopard should be able to access iCloud.

I still think that us under Snow Leopard should wait until June to see wheather or not iCloud would be bring in Snow Leopard. In June MobileMe is stopped. So Apple should do something for some of us. Am I dreaming?

I've followed Roger's advice and have been able to take advantage of all of iCloud features in Snow Leopard with the exception of photo streaming and bookmark syncing; for these I've not yet found a viable solution. 

I too am hoping that Apple will release an update to Snow Leopard before the end of June.  Although my system qualifies for Mountain Lion, I still prefer Snow Leopard and don't see any advantages to an upgrade other than File Vault encryption and iCloud syncing.  TrueCrypt provides my encryption needs and works quite well, but is not "seamless" compared with Lion's version.  For photo streaming and bookmark syncing I've installed the iCloud control panel on my Windows 7 Boot Camp virtual machine, which at least allows me to import streamed photos into iPhoto or Aperture on the Mac side once they've loaded in Windows.  I'd always thought that iCloud functionality was somehow "integrated" into the OS X operating system, but in Windows a simple control panel provides this functionality.  There's no reason not to include a preference pane in Snow Leopard that does the same.  Perhaps we shouldn't expect all of iCloud's features with this solution (such as Back to My Mac), but at least we would be provided with what those using a Windows PC and iPhone have been granted.

Xmarks will take care of Bookmark sync and I use SugarSync for photo streaming.

I tried XMark for Bookmark syncing, but the "free" application downloaded from the App Store turned out to require an annual fee.  I've not tried SugarSync yet but will take a look...

I use Xmarks, it's free, don't know what you saw or where you saw it.
