syncing multiple video and audio clips

I am shooting with a DSLR and recording sound with a field recorder. So far, I have gotten great results syncing the field recorder files with the camera scratch track in FCPX. Is there a way to sync multiple clips to the recorder's audio at one time, or am I limited to syncing each clip separately. My understanding is that I can sync everything at once with Plural Eyes, soi that may be the next step.
