The menu options on mac appear as numbers?

Okay so i noticed that today, when i right click on a folder (to organize for example) such options appear in numbers such as N148 instead of saying arrange by or whatever. It looks this way with most options. i am wondering what is that cause for this and how i can fix it, bc its rather irritating.

Did you recently (re)install the adobe flash plugin and if so from where? I'm asking because of articles like the following:

Another OS X Trojan imitates Adobe Flash installer

And there are already threads on this subject in these discussions with techniques on fixing this (provided it is the "strain" referenced).

finder corrupt? - Strange characters in menu

Drop down menus changed to numbers

Finder shows strange letter and number strings, programs "quit unexpectedly"

If it is this I recommend getting flash only through the adobe flash site or through macupdate.com.
