Ideas on what to do next with OS X installation?

I installed OS X disc 1 so far with not problems. When it asks for disk 2 it comes back with Install Fialed. The Installer could not locate the data it needed to install the software. Check your install media or internet connection and try again or contact the software manufacturer for assistance.

Click to Restart to restart your computer and try installing again. When I click restart, the blue screen disappears after about 10 seconds, the error comes back immediately after that. What does this mean? How can I fix it?

Hi, You have to restart, eject Disc #2, insert Disc #1, and boot holding the c key down to start over.

That second Disc thing happens frequently, the best way around it is to do a Custom install, and eliminate enough Printer Drivers, Languages, Fonts, and Applications you don't need... then it may skip #2 altogether.

You can hold the Mouse button down at boot to eject the Disc, holding the Option/alt key at the same time should open the Startup manager giving you a choice to boot off Disc #1 after inserting it and waiting for it to be recognized.
