I'm getting a message that says "This iPad hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks. Backups happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked and connected to Wi-Fi." I've done all this but can't get rid of error message. (In iTunes is says that my iPad was backed up at 1:15 p.m. today!)
Any suggestions how to get rid of this message? I keep hitting OK but it won't go away, and I can't shut down.

I am having this problem on my iphone as well. It suggests purchasing more storage for icloud, yet I try that and then it displays a different error message.
Have you resolved this yet?

Had same problem. I tried powering off by holding Home Key and Power Key at same time until IPad shut down.
Repowered up - and message gone!

worked for me too with different error message re unable to backup to icloud. (I think I got the message because i'd changed my apple password but not my icloud one. Now I can go into settings and change the icloud password and it's working.
