Are there any more GarageBand guitar pedals available??

Argh! Such a simple question you'd think someone would have asked it by now... or my search skills are super bad. Probably more likely the case. At any rate the pedals on the software are not that diverse. There is a bit more room for other amps too, altho the ones in there really are quite nice. But does anyone know about the pedal thing? I figured since there was jam packs (which seem geared towards kids more than musicians) that there might be a pack of pedals...

so far there have not been any additional effect pedals besides those included with GB.

the best suggestion i can offer would be to make sure that Apple know this is a desired feature:

Thanks for the reply and the link. I have dropped the team a suggestion (for what it might be worth). To my mind GB is excellent as it is but tragically missing some classically used pedals like vibrato, tremolo, tape delays, classic reverb pedals, acoustic guitar and dobro pre-amps and that sort of thing.

The amp collection is really great but is also missing some key elements, like famous solid state amps. I am mostly a vacuum tube guy, however, since I play some steel guitar I expected to see something appropriate to this distinct and popular style and sound and there is nothing currently there.

Steel players fortunate enough to own a Webb Steel Guitar Amp have acknowledged during the past 25 years that it is the finest performing amplifier for the instrument. Jim Webb, the manufacturer of this fine product passed away, and only 2500 of these amps were ever manufactured. Most were sold before they were built. The Peavy Nashville 1000 is the current leader for those who can't have a Webb.

Who knows... maybe they will make an add-on...

you never know, it is possible, perhaps the next tiem they upgrade it.

at least you let them know about something you desire.
