Q: airport express without ethernet

I have a stereo system > on the opposite side of a large room I have a phone connection and modem/wireless router. I have an Airport Express.

Is it possible with this combination to get music wirelessly to my stereo?

I realise this is a newb question but I haven't been successful in finding answers to the basics.

The Airport Express needs to be close to the stereo.

Then the Airport Express uses a audio connection to the stereo.

Thanks Joseph.

I see the Express in my list of Networks (Network B). I'm using Network A to connect to my modem for internet, and I'm guessing thats why iTunes is not giving me the option to send my music to Network B... or is it?

Bang on. You need to connect to Network B to be able to stream your music.

How do you have the airport configured ? If you've set it up to join Network A, then you should still be able to connect to the internet while connected to Network B, and hence will not have to switch networks every time

k, lots more clicking and I worked it out. I didn't realise that was possible so thanks a bunch. I'm all sorted now.
