I'm desperately trying to install my new Brother DL-2270DW on my Macbook Pro running 10.7.2. Problem is that there is no driver for this. Instead you can download a file from Brother that should put a package icon xxxx.pkg file to the desktop. Only, it does not.

Then I'm told to extract the downloaded xxxxx.dmg file manually with the Disk Utility, and thereby create the xxxxx.pkg file to be installed. Only it does not create this file, it creates a cdr-file. And nothing happens when you run this file.

Can anyone out there please, please help me?? Thanks!!
