Mac Mail/Contacts and GMail Integration?

I have a small business and believe I am moving back to Mac Mail from my current email client. I moved to this Client almost immediately upon porting to Mac about a year and a half ago and now I am trying to finalize all of this (contacts and mail and signatures etc.).

And since I am /also/ organizing Contacts (and thinking about getting these into GMail) - would anyone mind walking me through the methodology (if any) of any kind of interaction between Mail and GMail.

Is there such a thing?

How do you use and or leverage it?

Thanks for any advice.

hi. thanks. i think i was not clear here (but at the same time that is a nice link).

i am having special difficulty with Contacts and Previous Recipients (those that i responded to from within Mac Mail whcih is a database that exists on each computer all by itself).

i guess i should have been more clear and asked if anyone knows of a good way to integrate Mac Contacts and/or Previous Recipients (again these are stored in the Mac Mail app until you add them to the Mac Contacts app).

i mean, is there some good way to upload mac contacts to Gmail?

is there some way to UPDATE the gmail contacts if you update the Mac Contacts (or add Previous Recipients from Mac Mail to the Mac Contacts app)??

is there some way to SYNC these two databases so i don't have to mess with all of this?!
