Q: How do I email iTunes song I have downloaded?

You cannot e mail a song from I tunes.

From a computer, ( pc) you could create an mp3 version, copy it to an e mail and mail it.  But if it is a copyrighted song, that would be a no no.

You can also buy them the song as a gift, and send it to them thru I tunes, if they are apple folks.

can you tell me how to get the song to him by buying it?

You've already been told to send it as a gift...

Why would she need to create an MP3 version?

Did you follow the instructions at the bottom of the linked page I referenced above?  You need to do this from your PC.  Your iPad cannot do it.
