I installed Windows 7 on my MacBook and it has no sound. How can I fix this problem? I have checked the volume settings, and the drivers but everything is up to date and it says it is working.

downloading audio drivers has always been required, so you do need the one your Mac uses, likely Cirrus.

Thank you for your help. I tried it out but still no sound. I'll continue looking and see if I can find other drivers.

Glad it worked but I am always and totally in favor of only downloading from known sources and the vendor, instead. And as helpful as they may be, some of the tips seem questionable fixes.
