I would like my text to be upside down in some of the cells of a table I have created in iPages. I need it to print so I can cut the table apart and fold, similiar to a creating card. Text on front & back of the "mini-card" will read right-side-up once folded. Table of 6 columns, 4 rows, will, whe printed, cut, and folded, create 12 product tags.

Example:

Tag # 1 - Front (fold between rows 1 & 2, and 3 & 4)Cut between each column; cut between rows 2 & 3Front - Tag 3FrontTag 5Tag 6
Tag 1 - Back I WANT FONT TO PRINT UPSIDE DOWN IN THIS ROWBack - tag 2Back - Tag 3Back - tag 4Tag 5Tag 6
Tag 7 - FrontFront - tag 8Front - tag 9FrontTag 11Tag 12
Tag 7 - Back WANT FONT TO PRINT UPSIDE DOWN IN THIS ROWBack - tag 8Back - tag 9Back - tag 10

Cool idea!

What you want to do can't be done in tables. (IMHO)

But it can be done in text boxes.

Put the cursor where you want the text boxes to begin. Insert a text box.

Size it to hold the largest text by dragging a corner. Copy that one and paste your text boxes, enter the text.

In the ones you want to have upside down, click out, click back on the box, in the inspector, click the ruler (metrics) and enter 180, and play with the little arrows and alignment until you get what you want.

You can also get vertical text or diagonal text, upside down and backwords text!

Thanks -- I wasn't loving the text boxes, for alignment, while seems simple, wasn't working great however I tried it before. Today, I created a template using horizontal & vertical guides, then using text boxes. This worked much better for lining things up. For anyone looking at this later -- look for help on placing guides on your document in Pages. Once you do the math and get all of these where you need them, the go forth with text boxes and the sizing and flipping as per chinajon's advice, above.
