Images in a Table?
I have some PDF images that I want to use in table cells. But iBooks Author won't put them there. Is there a solution?

It's my understanding that you cannot add images to table cells in IBooks Author. However, you can add an image background to the entire table or you can change an individual cell's background by adding a color or color gradient.
Since Keynote allows images inside table cells, you may want to explore the possibility of creating your table there and then inserting the Keynote file in iBooks Author.
Good luck!

Place an insertion point in a cell and then paste the grapic. It should appear. - Fabe
P.S. the graphic does become the background as James says...
You gotta love Fabe.
Copying a graphic and then pasting the image works beautifully!
Thanks Fabe!
Yea! I'm glad it worked. - Fabe
It did work. Thanks. The image needs to be not an inline because then it does not work. But if it is anchored, it does.
this appears to only work when viewing in iBooks Author. once published to the ipad, the cell backgrounds disappear. has anyone actually had this work on their ipad?
