No you can not. iTunes is for iPods, iPads and iPhones.

you can't use icloud with the htc phone but you can get your library of music onto it but you just won't be using iTunes

every phone has it's own way of adding music

but to find your music on the computer without using iTunes go to these folders

once you find this folder you can then make copies of the music and use whatever method the phone uses to get it on there

ps: the HTC phone has to support mp4 or else your iTunes purchased songs won't play or make it on the phone

YES YOU CAN, if you go to Google you can upload all your songs from itunes to google music and sync it to your HTC, I just did mine, and it works perfect.

I just purchased an HTC x to replace my Iphone 4, WOW, awesome.

update, the HTC takes horrible photo's, going back to iphone.
Iphone you rock.

You can simply drag the songs from iTunes to the HTC on the desktop. No need to use Google music.

But you don't care anymore so this is for info only.

You want to put your music onto your non-Apple player, but you - for some strange reason - believe it's Apple's job to work out how to do it for, presumably, every single non-Apple MP3 player in the entire known universe, and then keep notes on the off-chance that someone will want them. We've already covered this. It is not Apple's, or this forum's, responsibiblity to give you instruction on how to put music onto your phone. Read the instructions that came with your phone, consult their forum, or at least try Chris CA's suggestion.

It is the iTunes for Windows forum so it's how to use iTunes.
