Unable to Download Application Message

Can you try updating it one at a time.

I am getting the same error, they seem to download a portion of the app then I get the error message. Oddly enough my Apps section in iTunes is greyed out and when I click on sync apps I get a warning that this will delete the apps on my phone and replace them, odd since they should be the same apps.

This just happend to me (over Wifi) I left the "unable to download application" window open, maybe for 1 minute and I then tried pressing "retry" again and it worked, maybe this is the solution...I hope this helps. 🙂

I need help with this as well

I've been getting the same problems for weeks. There are many threads on Apple Support Communities about this, so lets hope that Apple are looking into it.

It happened all of a sudden for me after weeks of being perfectly fine.

I have, however, raised it as a call with Apple support and may actually end up taking my devices into an Apple store to get a "Genius" to look at them and try and sort it. If they cant and I don't hear anything back from Apple Support then I will be very annoyed as this is taking me many attempts to get a simple app or music track to download! Something I don't want to be spending the rest of my life hitting "retry"!!!

Hopefully an Apple / account issue that they can sort at their end. I'll keep you posted on any progress I make and hopefully this may help you too.

Been having same issue on my iPhone 4S and iPad 3 and my wife's iPad 1 and iPhone 4. Resetting password and the logging out/reset and log in don't solve it. Random apps just refuse to download - both updates and new apps... Sort it out Apple - this has been 3 or 4 months now for me

I'm getting the same error and have tried several different fixes from changing ownership to clearing metadataetc. And nothing seems to help. Not sure what has changed as I can delete them and them redowload them and it works fine but I shouldn't have to do that. Let's hope apple gets this sorted out soon.

I get the same error on mine but if you just get back to a wifi network they will all finish updating for you.

I have the same error. Does Apple monitor these threads. I have not seen a recommended solution from them. I have tried to reset my iPad and the problem is still there. I really need to use some of these apps. Does anyone have a solution?

After I reset my iPad I was then able to delete the apps from iTunes and then delete the Apps from my iPad. Once that was complete I was able to download the apps from the App Store and get them working again.

I join ur cause. Having the same issue. Tried all possible solutions including IOS6 but in vain. This is an issue I'm facing for more than 2 months now. By this level of support and the Iphone5, I realized how apple looks like after Steve

Same problem here with my iphone4, and my husband's iphone4. I've tried everything too, no luck.
