Unable to Download Application Message

I recently tried to update 8 or 9 of my apps on my iPhone 4s through a wifi connection. Since I had to leave the wifi connection, I paused all the apps. I now have 3G service and am tryin to continue to update the apps, but continually get either the "Waiting" message underneath the app, or the title of the app, and a message saying "Unable to Download Application", saying whichever app "could not be downloaded at this time." I'm given to option to be "Done" or to "Retry". If I am chose done, nothing happens and the app is unable to be used, if I chose "Retry" I continually get the same message stating the app could not be downloaded. NONE of these apps are over 20MB, including "Angry Birds", Newstand purchases, and the iBooks application. I've tried re setting the phone and closing all tasks and nothing happens. Any suggestions please?

I've been getting the same problems for weeks. There are many threads on Apple Support Communities about this, so lets hope that Apple are looking into it.

It happened all of a sudden for me after weeks of being perfectly fine.

I have, however, raised it as a call with Apple support and may actually end up taking my devices into an Apple store to get a "Genius" to look at them and try and sort it. If they cant and I don't hear anything back from Apple Support then I will be very annoyed as this is taking me many attempts to get a simple app or music track to download! Something I don't want to be spending the rest of my life hitting "retry"!!!

Hopefully an Apple / account issue that they can sort at their end. I'll keep you posted on any progress I make and hopefully this may help you too.
