Find my iphone app won't open on my Mac. I downloaded on itunes. It opens on my iphone. My mac is 10.6.8. What am I doing wrong?ok in itunes

iTunes apps are for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch only. Apps for the Mac are downloaded from the Mac App Store.

Find my iPhone is not available as an app for the Mac, but rather it is accessed from http://iCloud.com.

You don't need iCloud to access the iCloud website, so it should still work on your Mac.

By the way, I think you can update to Lion if you want to because Lion needs an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and you said that you have one.

It seems like you do need to have icloud on your mac in order to use it. I can't seem to be able to access it just through the website.
