When I try to turn it on all that happens is the screen looks like it turn on but remain black. I already restored my ipad using itunes. The Apple warranty ( not sure if you have Apple Care or the basic 90 days hardware warranty), as I understand it , will not cover drop damage. Your best bet is to go to an Apple Store and talk to them. My experience with our users that have gone there is that the fols at the Apple Store go out of their way to help people in difficult situations, even going beyond the limits of the promised warranty at times. Can't promise that will happen, but you have a shot at getting help.
