Q: after airport extreme update 7.6.1, i can nolonger connect via iphone 4s

I just got this airport extreme not too long ago... took a few sleepless nights to finally get it all sorted. after the 7.6.1. update all iphones in my house stopped

responding. no more wifi connections doesnt matter what i do. it can actually link to the airport but cannot get online...... seems to work fine with my ipad2.

i've tried almost everything including turning off security. please help!

Some people are having the same issue. Revert to 7.5.2 which seems to be the most stable one. If you haven't had any issues with 7.6.0, that be okay too. Apple haven't put out any update to fix some of these connectivity issues yet. So, be patient... And god luck!

I think I fixed it. I manually changed the wifi channel on 2.4ghz to the highest setting and for now it's working good on 7.6.1.
